This area has Wonderful things to offer, Clear, pine scented starry nights and great outdoor activities, hiking, rock climbing, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, ATV, dirt bike,and Rubicon 4x4 trails, boating on Crystal Clear mountain lakes or rafting on rushing rivers, In winter enjoy , skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing , cross country skiing and sledding, build a snowman, or sit by a toasty fire and watch the snow fall. Apple Hill has open to the public working farms with seasonal treats of apples, pears, locally grown produce and crafts in addition to the local winery's and micro brewery's there are Christmas tree farms with lots of carmel apples, & hot cider. Lake Tahoe and Casino night life are around 50 scenic Hwy 50 miles away.
